RESOLUTION NO. 5 2 7 0 <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br /> OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON, AUTHORIZING THE <br /> MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT <br /> BETWEEN THE CITY OF AUBURN AND THE CITY OF <br /> ALGONA FOR DECANT FACILITIES USAGE AND <br /> STREET SWEEPING SERVICES <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Algona has inadequate facilities to handle the waste <br /> materials produced from their public works street sweeping and Vactor maintenance; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Auburn has sufficient capacity at their decant facility to <br /> handle the Algona waste materials and is willing to provide for the proper handling, <br /> processing and disposal of the City of Algona's street sweeper and Vactor truck materials <br /> at a cost that is acceptable to the City. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITI( COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN, KING <br /> COUNTY, WASHINGTON, HEREBY RESOLVES as follows: <br /> Section 1. The Mayor of the City of Auburn is hereby authorized to execute <br /> an Interlocal Agreement between the City of Auburn and the City of Algona for Decant <br /> Facility Usage and Street Sweeping Services in substantial conformity wifh the <br /> Agreement attached hereto as Exhibit"A" and incorporated herein by this reference. <br /> Section 2.
