RESOLUTION IVO. 5 3 0 9 <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> AUBURN, WASHINGTON, AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO <br /> EXECUTE INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY CONTRACTS WITH <br /> VALLEY REGIONAL FIRE AUTHORITY, AND THE CITIES OF <br /> ALGONA AND PACif IC <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Auburn has an Information Technology (IT) Department <br /> that maintains and addresses the technology needs of the City including phone systems, <br /> computer systems, email, GIS and related technological tools; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City's IT Department has the capacity to assist other governmental <br /> entities with theirtechnologieal needs; and <br /> WHEREAS, the cities of Algona and Pacific, and the Valley Regional Fire Authority <br /> are in need of external support for their IT functions; and <br /> - WHEREAS, the City of Auburn is willing to provide IT services to the cities of <br /> Algona and Pacific, and the Valley Regional Fire Authority upon terms and compensation <br /> agreed to befinreen the parties. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN, <br /> _ _ <br /> WASHINGTON, RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> Section 1. The Mayor is authorized to execute Interlocal Agreements, pursuant. <br /> to the Interlocal Cooperation Act, Chapter 39.34 of the Revised Code of Washingtoh <br /> (RCW) with the cities of Algona and�Paeific and the Valley Regional Fire Authority for IT <br /> services in substantial conformity with the agreements attached hereto, and marked as <br /> Exhibits I, II and III. � <br /> Resolution No. 5309 <br /> July 25, 2017 <br /> Page 1 of 2 <br />
